Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds
Sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers sliced, with some juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and cook the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the softened cream cheese, chicken broth, sliced pepperoncini, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
