  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese sharp or mild, as preferred
  • 1 lb ground sausage breakfast sausage works well
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2% milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and ground sausage.
  3. Gradually add the milk to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These sausage balls can be frozen before baking. Just bake them for a few extra minutes if cooking from frozen.
